Tales of the "House of Etherian" and their "Sprites" have been told for millennia. The House of Etherian was a family that once reigned over Terra, and their Sprites served as their loyal protectors. With the help of the clairvoyant Sprites, Etherians discovered artifacts with devastating powers. Legend has it that the Etherians sealed these artifacts away and passed the key down through generations to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

No one knows what happened to the House of Etherian and their Sprites — they vanished overnight as if an invisible force wiped them out of existence.

In the wake of the Etherians' sudden doom, warlords from all corners of Terra were quick to fill the power vacuum, locking horns in ceaseless conflicts over the artifacts. The old Etherian Empire was divided into five city-states in the East, West, South, North, and the Center of Terra, each governed by a family that covets the artifacts of their adversaries.

This is where YOU come in! You awake from a 20-year slumber with ancestral memories — it turns out you are a long-lost descendant of the Etherians. You summon a Sprite with your newfound power and embark on an adventure to recover the lost artifacts, discover the truth of your ancestors' untimely demise, and reclaim the glory of the House of Etherian.
